Ryan Leasure

Pastor for Administration and Community Engagement

Serving as the Pastor for Administration and Community Engagement, Ryan oversees our ministries at the church and equips volunteers and leaders to use their gifts for the good of the congregation. He also oversees our discipleship ministries which includes small groups, education, and outreach. Additionally, he provides general oversight to the maintenance of the grounds and facilities. Prior to becoming a pastor at Grace, Ryan taught for five years in the Greenville County School system and became certified as a school administrator (M.A. from Furman University). More recently, he worked for a company that bought and flipped foreclosure homes (much like those shows on HGTV, minus all the drama). These experiences, along with his previous pastoral experience and seminary training (M.Div from Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) have aided in Ryan's growth to become a more effective minister of the Gospel.

When not at church, Ryan spends time with his wife Tracy and kids Nora and Hudson. He enjoys his Pittsburgh sports teams, drinking his weight in coffee, playing Settlers of Catan, having good conversations with friends, and reading a good book. When possible, he tries to tackle all of these at the same time. Ryan also blogs at where he writes on Christian apologetics.
