Weekly Activities

At Grace we seek opportunities for spiritual growth through the following weekly ministries:

sunday morning worship

We have the privilege of gathering together each Sunday at 10:00 am to sing, pray, hear God's message from the Bible, and fellowship.

1:1 Discipleship

The Christian life is not meant to be lived alone. At Grace we try to support each other throughout the week by getting together to read the Bible, hold each other accountable, and just share life together.

What does this look like? Maybe it's a few moms getting together to talk about their joys and struggles of parenting. Maybe it's a new couple having dinner with a couple who have been together for 15 years, each sharing about relationship issues. Maybe it's grabbing coffee with another Christian to discuss a Bible passage and pray together. Whatever form it takes, it is a Christ-centered way to encourage each other.

Core Classes

Throughout the year on Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, we meet to discuss what the Bible has to say on a variety of topics. These classes target not only the head but also the heart, with topics ranging from holiness to your daily job. This time is where doctrine meets discipleship and we understand more deeply how an ancient book can impact our day-to-day lives.

What does this look like? 35-40 people of all ages and walks of life engaging in leader-guided discussion based on a book or topic. People sharing how gospel living can be tricky, but rewarding. People encouraging each other to keep moving forward, even when life gets difficult. People wrestling with biblical truths.

grace groups

The goal of these small group gatherings is to see spiritual growth in our members that is the result of applying Scripture to our lives and praying with and for one another.

What does this look like in Greenville/Greer? 10-15 people meeting in each other’s homes, usually on Sunday nights. We review Sunday's text and seek to apply it to our lives. We pray together for each other, for our church, for the church at large, and for the world. Then we usually eat some food and talk about our lives.

What does this look like in Spartanburg and other locations? 8-10 people meeting at our church building, usually on Wednesday evenings. We eat dinner together, if possible, at 5:30pm and then break up into our small groups.

For Spring 2017, we'll have two ladies groups and two men's groups, as well as a students group and classes for kids.
