Eric Vander Ploeg
Eric is our Pastor for Preaching and Leadership at Grace. His role is to lead the church in accomplishing our gospel mission, to feed the church with the unchanging truth of God’s Word, and to raise up others to do the same.
Born in Greer, SC, Eric studied Chemistry at Furman University and received his master's and doctoral degrees in theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife, Parker, have four daughters.
Eric began his ministry at Grace in 2018. Prior to Grace, he served in Lead and Executive Pastor roles with churches in Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin for over 18 years.
In his spare time, he loves to read and think about theology, write poetry, spend time with his family, watch sci-fi, and tinker with anything Apple.
