God, what do you want to do through me and my family to make more space for more grace?

In March, our church members voted on a plan to expand our campus to reach our fast growing community. That vote was 85% yes, which our leaders believe is a strong indication of God’s leading to move forward on the project. Just as we prayed that God would give us confirmation of his will through a vote, now we must pray that he provides through the financial commitments of his people. We’re asking everyone who calls Grace Bible Church their home to spend the next several weeks praying a very important prayer…  “God, what do you want to do through me and my family to help us make more space for more grace?”

This kind of sacrifice requires enormous faith. It’s the kind of faith that, thirty years ago, inspired a young, fledgling church to buy land on Highway 290, to give more than they thought they could, to trust God in signing a mortgage, and to build the facility that we currently enjoy. It’s the faith that led them to keep giving and to pay off that mortgage as quick as they could and to start ministries to reach their community. And it’s that same faith that, we believe, will now help us meet the remarkable challenge of serving the hundreds of families God is bringing to our doorstep.

So let’s get ready for this important moment in the life of our church!
