Eric Vander Ploeg
Eric leads the Moore Grace Group and is our Pastor for Preaching and Leadership at Grace. His role is to lead the church in accomplishing our gospel mission, feed the church with the unchanging truth of God’s Word, and raise up others to do the same.
Born in Greer, SC, Eric studied Chemistry at Furman University, and received his Masters and Doctoral degrees in theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He and his wife Parker have four daughters – Rorie, Neely, Erin, and Eden – and a new son-in-law, Isaiah (who is married to Neely).
Eric began his ministry here in 2018. Prior to Grace, he served as Lead and Executive Pastor for churches in Illinois, Missouri, and Wisconsin for more than 20 years.
In his spare time, he loves to read and think about theology, write poetry, spend time with his family, watch sci-fi, and tinker with anything Apple.
