Jack Jarrett

Jack stays busy serving the people of Grace Bible Church with great love and humility. He's often the friendly face you encounter at the front door when you walk into church. Perhaps you've learned from him as a Grace Group Leader or as a teacher for both adults and students. We all experience his leadership through his role as our "eldest Elder." It's clear that Jack values discipling and encouraging others, particularly men, in their faith.

Jack and his wife Debbie planted a church in Spartanburg, and Jack pastored for 13 years. Over the years he has also served as a deacon, youth pastor, and adult teacher. He has owned his home security business for 20 years. Jack and Debbie have been married for 45 years and have three children and eight grandchildren. They are thankful to God that all their children faithfully love and serve the Lord. Jack loves fishing, especially for largemouth bass and trout ("Golf is for guys who don't know how to fish!"). He enjoys hiking and viewing waterfalls in the Carolinas with Debbie, family, and friends.
