SUNDAY PREVIEW
Aug 30 — Jesus is Praying for You (Hebrews 7:25-28)
Lead Pastor Eric Vander Ploeg
The Jewish priests went to God on behalf of the people, making sacrifices again and again to cover their sin, and praying for God’s favor. Jesus was a final sacrifice leading to his being seated at the right hand of God. And yet today we see that his ability to save us is tied to him "always making intercession for us”. What does it mean for Jesus to continue going to God on our behalf? How should the prayers of Jesus affect our prayers? And how good is it that Jesus is always praying for you?
