Help us make more space for more grace!

If you are newer to the church, we'd like to invite you to find out more about our campus development project, More Grace. Please read the invitation below from our Lead Pastor, Eric Vander Ploeg, for more details.

Dear friends--

I'm sending this to some of you who are newer to Grace. Perhaps you became a member this year, or you're well on your way toward becoming a member. God has brought you through our doors and we're thrilled you're here! I want to invite you to some important meetings in the weeks ahead...and they're so important that I'm sending this to you as a letter and as an email.

Over 25 years ago, the founders of Grace Bible Church believed that God would do something special in this congregation. By faith, they bought a piece of land way out in the middle of nowhere. By faith, they sacrificed their money and their time to help build a church building. And, by faith, they prayed that the careful preaching and living out of the gospel would become a magnetic force drawing new people to Christ. What those pioneers could not have seen is the explosion of growth in Spartanburg. Our little church building in the middle of nowhere now sits right in the middle of everywhere! Our city is one of the fastest growing areas in South Carolina, and our church is positioned in an incredibly strategic place to connect many many people to God's purposes.

One thing stands in the way -- our building. We just don't have enough space! We currently run two services that are often near capacity. We see children's classrooms filled with smiling kiddos... and so many of them! Each week more and more people have to park on the grass because our parking lot just can't handle the cars. We need to do something! So, a few years ago we started a campus development project called "More Grace." We're trying to make more space for more grace so that more people can give more glory to God. A year ago, our members made significant commitments to help bring that vision to reality.

Now, I want to invite you on the same journey that our members took last year.
I'd like to invite you to come to two important meetings.

The first is an information meeting. We want to give you the full story around More Grace and explain the project. We also want to answer any questions you might have. We have three of these information meetings for you to choose from, all held at the church. We won't have childcare, but children are welcome to attend the meeting. You can register for one of these meetings here.

Thursday 4/24 7pm
Sunday 4/27 12pm
Sunday 5/4 12pm

Second, we'd like to invite you to a dinner at the church on May 9 at 6 PM. Where the information meetings will give you the "what" of the project, this dinner will help explain the "why" and the "how". We'll have childcare for children ages 0-5, and older children can join us in the meeting. It’s important you register for this meeting as well by clicking here.

We're so grateful that God has brought you to Grace to be a part of his mission in this church. He's bringing hundreds and hundreds of families within minutes of our campus. Just like our founders worked hard to make room for us, now it's our turn to make room for these new precious people, all made in the image of God.

Will you help us?

Eric Vander Ploeg
