MEDIa disclaimer

Grace Bible Church (GBC) uses photos and videos for promotional or other church-related purposes. Photos and videos are vital to enhancing communication among our church body, setting clear expectations for our visitors, and creating an accurate, inviting image of GBC to our surrounding community. These forms of media may be used on our website, events pages, or Google business page, as well as in emails, advertising, printed materials, or on social media.

GBC reserves the right to use any photo or video taken at church-related functions, whether on campus or in the community, without the expressed written permission of the individuals.

To ensure the privacy of adults and children, full names and any other personal information will not be provided in any media format without prior written consent. On social media platforms, GBC will not tag an individual’s account. For children, name tags or other forms of identification will be blocked from images before publication.

Any individual who does not wish their image to be published should notify the photographer and send their request in writing to connect@gracebible.com with a photo attached. The image will be used for identification purposes only and will be held in confidence. Foster parents are encouraged to follow this process as soon as possible for children in their care to prevent the unauthorized publication of the foster child’s image.

By participating in a GBC service or event, or by failing to notify GBC in writing of your desire to not have your image published, you are agreeing to release GBC from any and all claims which you may have for invasion of privacy, right of publicity, defamation, copyright infringement or any other causes of action arising out of the use, adaptation, reproduction, distribution, broadcast or exhibition of such photographs, videos, audio recordings, and the like.

Any person or organization not affiliated with GBC may not use, copy, alter, or modify GBC photographs, graphics, video or other, similar productions or recordings without the advance written permission of an authorized designee from GBC.
